[PHOTO] Cuba is Without Power After Hurricane Rafael's Passage
Hurricane Rafael made landfall in the Gulf of Mexico on Wednesday night, having ripped over western Cuba as a Category 3 hurricane. It brought with it high gusts that knocked down the whole country's power grid.
Massive waves pummeled Havana's coastlines on Wednesday evening while strong winds and rain swept through the city's historic heart, scattering trees across flooded streets.

Forecasters warned that Rafael may bring "life-threatening" storm surges, gusts, and flash floods to western areas of the island after knocking out power and pouring in the Cayman Islands and Jamaica the day before.
The extent of the damage was not clear as of Wednesday night. However, here are some photos to help you picture the hurricane's impact on Cuba.
