Kzoo Parks is set to welcome the whole Kalamazoo community to Bronson Park on Thursday, December 12, at 5:30 p.m. for "December to Remember," a holiday event for Kalamazoo families.

The event will include free Christmas activities for all attendees, including complimentary hot chocolate beneath the winter lights in Bronson Park.

Hot chocolate, craft bags, gifts, and wrapping paper will be provided for free while supplies last. The event will finish at 6:30 p.m., or until the things run out.

This event is supported in part by the Kalamazoo Valley Museum. It is free, and while the activities are targeted toward families with children, all members of the community are invited.

Unfortunately, this event has been canceled because of the weather.

Rather, community members are welcome to the Kzoo Parks office (251 Mills Street) from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, December 16 through December 19, to pick up a holiday craft bag, select a gift, and write and drop off a message in Santa's mailbox.

There will also be wrapping paper and knitted gloves available. All things are free and accessible while supplies last.
