Invest 94L Is Moving Through the Atlantic: No Serious Threat to Florida

A tropical disturbance known as Invest 94L is now moving over the Atlantic Ocean and may form in the next few days. However, meteorologists anticipate it will not affect Florida.

The National Hurricane Center expects a 10% chance of development in the next two days, then a 50% chance in the next seven days as the system moves into a more favorable development environment.

Invest 94L could cause a tropical depression in Atlantis

Although it is now moving in a dry environment with unfavorable development conditions, the National Hurricane Center anticipates that it will continue westward toward warmer seas.

Gradual development is expected by the middle or end of the week, with the possibility of a tropical depression forming as it reaches the Leeward islands. If the tropical wave evolves into a named storm, Nadine is the next name on the list.
