Weather Forecast: Heavy snow in Hakuba, Japan

According to meteorologists, it is said that in January, Japan will experience heavy snowfall, especially Hakuba, Niseko, or Rusutsu. Although the snowfall period this year is not as much as that in last year, it still brings good moments to visitors.

Today, 5 Jan 2021, about 3cm of fresh snow in Hakuba, Japan is reported this morning with up to around 10cm being reported from some of the ski areas.

It is a cloudy morning with light snow falling higher up early on and it seems we are due a few days of calm conditions.

Especially, Weather Forecast predicts that snow will come once again from Thursday and there's a good chance of some large numbers too. Therefore, if you and your family have a plan for relaxing along with skiing, this week will be a perfect moment to do that.
